MyRisk® by Myriad Genetics

If you have a personal or family history of cancer, you may qualify for this type of genetic testing.

At your visit at Willow Health, you will be able to complete the screening form to see if you qualify. If so, we are able to collect your blood sample on site.

Answers arrive in 2-3 weeks and can tell you your risk for 11 different types of cancer using 63 different genetic markers.

The test is typically affordable if you have commercial insurance, and the team at Myriad Genetics will be in touch with you about the cost before they run the sample.

Types of cancer gene risk assessment:

  • ovarian

  • colorectal

  • uterine

  • skin

  • pancreatic

  • gastric (stomach)

  • prostate

  • renal (kidney)

  • lung and

  • endocrine cancers.

Avise® by Exagen

Autoimmune lab tests that go beyond other available tests in the area.

If you have a strong suspicion of an autoimmune disease, such as chronic joint pain, fatigue, or other rheumatoid symptoms, you may qualify for the Avise test.

At your visit, we will evaluate whether this test is right for you, and then draw your blood during the visit.

Testing for:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Lupus

  • Certain thyroid diseases

  • Sjogren’s disease

  • Systemic Sclerosis

  • Antiphospholipid Syndrome

  • Myositis

  • Mixed Connective Tissue Disease

ShieldTM by Guardant®

If you struggle with other forms of colon cancer screening, such as colonoscopy or collecting your stool at home, this is an option for you.

At your visit at Willow Health, you will be able see if you qualify at your visit. If so, we are able to collect your blood sample on site.

If your test turns out positive, you would proceed with a colonoscopy at that time.
